Skilled hand woven bead work by the Kamtse indigenous artisans from the Putumayo region in Colombia. Hummingbird is an epic bird highly valued amongst indigenous communities in the Americas.
Each earring pair were hand beaded for about 5-6 hours with around 210 beads on each earring.
Details:
- Hypo allergenic ear wires.
- Glass beads = colour will never fade.
- woven one bead at a time with the same thread that the Indigenous tribes used to use for fishing, so very durable.
- Bird is approx. a 4 cm drop from finding.
- Wing span of each bird is about 3 cm wide.
Note: Designed to never get tangled but to be cautious, please lay flat or hang up separately when not wearing.
